1. How to  obtain Learner’s Licence ?

The persons who intend to get Learners’ Licence must apply online by paying prescribed fee and download the applied form and submit it  along with the required documents .  The applicant will have to appear for a computer based test in the concerned RTO  and the persons who pass the test can download their Licence from portal https://parivahan.gov.in

2.  How to get the Driving Licence ?

The person intending to get Permanent Driving Licence should apply and pay online  after 30 days of getting the learners’ licence the prescribed fees. The person   has to submitt the applications  along with the required document in the concerned RTO for undergoing the Test.

3. How do I get permits for the Vehicles?

It is essential to obtain permits from the Transport Department, if anyone decides to ply a transport vehicle.  “Transport Vehicle” means any motor vehicle used for carrying passengers or goods or both by road for hire or reward.  Buses, Trucks, Vans, Tourist, Taxis, Auto rickshaws, staff vehicle of private companies, Tractor, Jeeps will all need permits. State Transport Authority regulates the issue of permits.
